About Share TXT

Share TXT is a minimal, ephemeral text sharing tool. Open the same room on two devices and your text syncs instantly via WebSocket — no database, no tracking.

How it works

Room name is taken from URL: /my-room → room my-room
On connect we send {type:'connection', roomName}
Server broadcasts user count and relays {type:'message'} to peers
When last client leaves, room is deleted from memory

Why

Built for quick copy-paste between phone and laptop, sharing logs, notes, or code without email or cloud storage.

Features

• Live sync • Client counter • QR code for room • QR scanner in nav • Light/dark mode • Fully responsive • No login
